Another beautiful carving on the same rock. The Mahishasura the demon king is being killed by the Goddess Parvati. After the incident she was named as Mahishasura Mardini. The story was very beautifully carved by the Mahabalipuram sculptures. I was amazed.

This is the Image taken in the cave located at Araku. a place in the Easter Ghat region just 100 Kms. from Visakhapatnam , Andhra Pradesh India. This is a place worth paying a visit. It is located 4200 feet above MSL. These caves are lime stone caves beautifully arranged by stalactites and stalagmites. These caves are first invented by a British Engineer when he is planning to lay the Rail way track over the small hillock. These are very ethnic places for the viewers. More images in the days to come.
